Leiko Beck Designs has returned from hiding as August guest designer at Scrapinsider.  She has come out with a beautiful kit called Needle and Thread as well as Over It, a collection of textured overlays.  Below are some previews,

Don't you love this photo?  It was taken by Leiko Beck Photography.  Leiko is not just a talented designer, she is also a talented photographer.  As soon as I saw the stitched frames I knew what I wanted to do.

I then went out and took a photo of a quilt I had made for Bostyn before she was born and created this next layout.  I really wanted to use the cute stitched alphas and label.

Now for the textured overlays.  I really loved this photo, again taken by Leiko, and wanted to keep it large to showcase the photo and overlays.  I used the ombre to add the subtle color to the water and concrete burn to add texture to the photo.  The paper and flower are both from Leiko's Needle and Thread kit and the word art is from Everyday Said No. 1 available free on Leiko's blog, here.
