Project 52

I finished my first two layouts for Project 52.  For those of you who do not know what Project 52, it is where you take one photo a week.  I could not commit to project 365 where you take one photo a day.  I can barely keep up with one a week.  I used Leora Sanford's Project 52 kit.

All Clear

Today we expected a tsunami to hit the Hawaiian islands but all is calm now.  It was cool to see the dramatic effects of a tsunami from the safety of the tv.  It appears that the worst has past with no damage yet to be reported.  It reminds us all to have an emergency kit of food, water, batteries, etc. on hand.  I have a very prepared husband so we didn't need to go out and deal with the crowds at Costco, grocery stores, Home Depot, and gas stations.  I found today to be a great day to catch up on my blog and home.

I completely forgot to post these layouts using Artistic Hearts collaboration kit by Sue Cummings and Ashalee Wall.  This is a beautiful kit filled with pretty pink paper and hearts.  You can get the kit here at Oscraps.

Hualalai Photos

Tate, Bostyn, and I just returned from a mini vacation to the Four Seasons Hualalai which is on the Big Island of Hawaii.  We loved staying at the Four Seasons and could easily get used to the personalized service that guests receive.  Bostyn would say that her favorite part of the trip was playing in the shower.  She loved it!  Tate and I both loved the snorkeling at the King's Pool which is loaded with fishes and 2 eagle rays.  It was very calm and peaceful.  Now I wish I had brought a waterproof digital camera.  Another highlight was meeting one of my favorite designers, Leiko, and actually have a photo shoot with her.  Leiko is as beautiful and sweet as her online self.  Her husband and children are just as delightful.

**New Paper & Glass Frames**

I'm so sorry, I meant to post this on Thursday before I left for the Big Island.  I was so busy before we left that I completely forgot.

Just a quickie here, my cousin Audrey came over to learn more about the world of digi scrapping.  She loves birds which inspired me to do this page for the oscraps template challenge.
