3rd April Wedding

So this was my final wedding for the month.  I wish I had brought my camera because the wedding was very elegant.  It is a good thing for facebook.  This wedding was at Ko'olau Golf Course.  It was a beautiful day with the mist floating among the mountain tops.

The bride, Porsche, is my husband's co-worker.  She has been planning this wedding for the past year and a half.  She planned everything her heart desired.  She had a custom gown drawn and sewn by a designer from New Zealand, Jules Bly.  It was a very stunning gown and only she could wear perfectly.  Let me just show you the dress and let it speak for itself.

What I loved best about the reception was the centerpiece floral arrangements.  Each table had a different arrangement but still kept cohesive with the overall theme and look.  This was on our table.

I love weddings, don't you.  I'm just glad that each wedding we went to this month was completely different from each other, taking us from the beach to the mountains.

Tyson & Nadine's Wedding

My brother-in-law, Tyson, just got married to Nadine this weekend.  They had an intimate ceremony in their own garden, right under their mango tree.  Tyson spent countless hours renovating his garden and home making sure today would be perfect . . . and it was.  Here are a few photos from today.

Bostyn was their flower girl/ring bearer.  She really didn't do much at all except run all over the place.

And YES, this was our 2nd wedding this month.  We have another wedding next weekend as well.

Erin + Joe

My cousin, Erin, just got married to Joe last night.  They are the sweetest couple!!

The wedding ceremony was at Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute at the Ko Olina Resort.  Lanikuhonua is Hawaiian for "where heaven meets the Earth."  In the ancient time, this beach was once reserved for Hawaiian royalty would come to bath and heal.  It is believed to be a very sacred site.  

Bostyn's cousin, Geoffrey, was the ring bearer.  Don't you just dig his shoes.  I love how Geoffrey and the guys were all matching.

Kahu Silva delivered a welcome message and a Hawaiian blessing to Erin and Joe.  It was a beautiful ceremony.

Ready for Spring?

We've been having a lot of April showers lately.  It was the perfect time to bring out Bostyn's new yellow raincoat and play in the rain.  It was also a perfect time to play with Umbrella Built for Two by Emily Powers and Leora Sanford.  Thanks to grandpa for sharing his umbrella with Bostyn.

Happy Belated Easter

Bostyn was a little apprehensive of the Easter Bunny at first but once Tate grabbed her she was ready to give the Easter Bunny a kiss.
