Last week, we planted beets and now we have NEW beet sprouts. We love to eat beets and found these organic beet seeds and thought of trying to grown them ourselves. I'll post again when we are ready to harvest. I can't wait to see how they turn out. According to the package, they have a bullseye pattern on the inside.
Yesterday, I found these super cute heart Japanese Washi Tape.
I wasn't sure what I'm going to do with it yet, maybe some crafts, decorate envelopes to mail, etc. For now, I took a digital frame (pictures + words from Paislee Press) and printed it. Then I taped it into our family planner.
Here are a few NEW layouts.
This is my brother-in-law, Kurt, blowing bubbles with his boys.
This is my nephew, Nicholas, blowing out his candles on his 5th birthday. We don't get to celebrate many birthdays with Nicholas since he lives in Oregon, so this one was very special.
And finally, a family portrait taken on Easter. I really love the patterned papers in this kit, For the Birds, by Peppermint of One Little Bird.

I'd love to be able to grow my own veggies, no wait, hang on that's not quite correct ... I'd love for someone else to tend to veggies that I'd like to grow in my garden, I love the idea of "home-grown" but I hate the idea of all the hard work needed to get the results. LOL! I love that tape ... I can rarely go into an office supplies shop without coming out with something that I have absolutely no use for, but is pretty (i.e. the Hello Kitty sticker I bought 10yrs ago & have never used, but they're cute!!!). I love your LO with your nephews blowing bubbles ... in fact, I love it sooooo much, I added it to the May Standing O's!!!
ReplyDeleteAwww - thank you Kym for doing that great photo of Nicholas. To be able to celebrate his fifth birthday with his family in Hawaii was very special for us too!

I'm curious to see how your beets turn out. I love to eat beets too. In fact, today I had a beet salad for lunch. I also got some washi tape last week, but they're not as cute as yours.
